In 2013, it appeared in a new setting as part of the Rise of Eastern Culture project, which is a form of cultural cooperation between three cities of eastern Poland (Bia\u0142ystok, Lublin and Rzesz\u00f3w) with the Eastern Partnership countries. From the beginning of its existence, it presents the richness of multiculturalism of Podlasie, in particular Bia\u0142ystok. It promotes the idea of \u200b\u200bdialogue and tolerance in a culturally diverse city, where Poles, Russians, Belarusians, Tatars, Ukrainians, Lithuanians, Jews and Germans coexisted for centuries. Restores the memory of the lost, while showing contemporary achievements, combines history with contemporary artistic activity.<\/p>\n<p>During the festival, artists coming from various nationalities and cultures, including those who have co-created the history and culture of the region, always present their works.<\/p>\n<p>The Rise of Eastern Culture is carried out by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the National Center for Culture and the cities of Rzesz\u00f3w, Lublin and Bia\u0142ystok.
